Hi
I have updated the first post and the Index with the precised measurements:
Total Height = 25.2 cms = 9.92 Inches
Height till the Lead Angle = 17.5 cms = 6.88 Inches
Width = 8.5 cms = 3.34 Inches
Depth = 10.1 cms = 3.97 Inches

Is the World Champion card itself a regular sized card? I always thought it was regular size, but it looks so big in those pictures.

Hi Tav
You thought properly, the oversized effect is due to the magnifying effect, the World Champion 1996 is a regular sized card

I hope someday Mr Garfield will let you post proposal, in the 18 years I knew Q as a friend I never got to see it and he never sent me the scan that Mr Garfield told him he could. It is the only thing he did since he started with Wizards that I have never seen, and it warms my heart to remember him by looking at his artwork and letters I have from him.

Did anyone else notice that the fifth line of rules text on the actual World Champion card starts with the word "for", while most images of the card on the internet (
http://www.magiclibrarities.net/799-rar ... mpion.html ) place that word at the end of the fourth line of rules text.

Could be that most people grab their image from this WotC article:
http://archive.wizards.com/Magic/magazi ... /arcana/91
Funnily enough, when this article was released (May 9, 2002), it was stated that:
"The winner of that tournament was Australia's Tom Chanpheng, who, at last word, still has the card at his home in a screwdown plastic case."
Yet, this card was embedded in the 1996 world champion trophy (encased in lucite), and sold in 2001.

I guess at that time, their last word was not very recent.

I'm guessing that the new image is a scan of the printing proof. Impressive! Thanks Alexis.
