Any spare Forger Dragons? #chuckle# I just looked back on my Russian FOIL Voice, and its all down hill from that. Guess life has a way of evening things out.mystical_tutor wrote:LOL, to quote a non-specific source: "how soon they forget".implode wrote:I'm just saying despite my love for JP cards, I didn't come anywhere close to breaking even on my two boxes...I was left with buyers regret. I remember the day when......... how many basic lands in a booster?
I pulled the 5 critter enchantments and the plainswalker in my Korean box and I am absolutely thrilled. Only 12 cards short of the complete set in one box. The foil phoenix caught the attention of a local gamer who rounded up 11 of those cards to trade for the phoenix and an uncommon foil he wanted. Only one more to go.

Older foil promos
I've been meaning to take this pic for quite some time now.
One of the Bolts is the first ever judge foil I received judging Nationals. The StoPs are something I keep downsizing to one playset every couple of years, but somehow keep getting reacquiring.
I did just buy one more Bolt, as one of mine has a cutline, and they seem to be getting pretty scarce on the market, so I decided I wanted to upgrade before they go up even more.
If anybody has any info of the print run of the Judge Lightning Bolt, it would be great. So far I've seen guestimates betwen 2500 to 4000 copies, but no facts. It could be actually anything, as these were distributed as 1 ofs for quite some time (at least 1998-2002), but there weren't that many GP's then (and way less judges at events).
Judges really were pretty rare creatures when these were printed. I well remember when for the longest time Rune Horvik was the only level 3 judge in this portion of Europe. He was also the only guy who could test new judges... He got to travel quite a bit.

Well, something came in the mail.
The summers belong to my friend and yes he is trying to sell them. the Betas are mine, just some I picked out of my second set to see what they might do.
Guess I need to dig into my second sets a little more and see if I can come up with some more of these.

Here are a couple unique promos that came in the mail recently. I've only seen 5 of these on sale on ebay so far and I have heard of just a few others floating around out there so I'm guessing at most 10-15 of these were ever released as seeded special promos in booster packs.
As you can see, the phone number on the back of the left Magister of Worth is offset more to the right than any other I've seen. I'm guessing this was probably the first one they attempted to stamp with their typewriter like device and adjusted to the left their start point for the first digit on all the rest to keep the full phone number more centered on the back of the card.
While I'm guessing tons of unstamped Magister of Worth promos will be released soon once the Conspiracy set hits the streets, I couldn't help but own two of these specially marked promos from perhaps the most mysterious & unique announcement of any MTG set yet.
