There are roughly 12 different variations of the Homelands cards that exist. If you would like to know what others are out there I can make this easy for you.

There's also a double sided Chime and a Irini Sengir can't remember the other side of the Irini though I can check once I get home.

They were much more likely to exist than not, just a question of whether we will ever see the other permutations. When you have a UC sheet turned and printed again, there are bound to be different combinations. Will be interesting to see if we ever see cards with the same fronts and different backs.

I'm not sure there are as many variations as we think although I think a few may exist this was used at wizards for testing purposes and wasn't done by accident. Also every card on the long edge has a color bar on it which is a different color not sure what the purpose of that is but it's on all of them.

Hi

Thanks added to the Compilation "German/French Copyright" Test Prints:
http://www.magiclibrarities.net/forum/v ... php?t=7192

Regarding the homelands Test Prints, I need to create a Compilation and add them in the Test Prints, Press Checks and Production Anomalies index and sub-section.

Are we sure these are test prints, though? It's semantical, but there is a reason the textless saga cards aren't test prints but misprints. I can't think of any reason why these, or stuff like HP/Wyvern backed cards are test prints. It seems possible that they were random errors that were printed and disposed of, with some leftovers given to members of staff/artists.

Up for speculation: what exactly was being tested?

So Test Print or Misprint for the German Homelands? I let the experts have a theory battle, then I will add the "Clear as Crystal" info, in the appropriate section :) But, I do remember from a Test Print Specialist Member that helped me on that subsection, that if the German Homelands are not in the subsection, it's because they are Misprints. So, if you can prove the opposite, I gladly add them there. As a reminder:

Regarding GER Homelands double-sided cards, I own:

Eron the Relentless - Eron the Relentless (upside-down)

so we now know for sure that duplicates are possible ?!
