Test Print City of Traitors

Post by yawg07 » Fri Feb 09, 2007 5:05 am

A long long time ago I saw scan of these bad boys, whatever happened to their pics?
I would really like to see them again.
It's my favorite card in the whole game.

Someday I'll own one, but I need to know a price, too.
Where am I aiming, here? Are there any prices for these?

And one last question, are there 9 versions or 11?

I removed these images from the website a long time ago because they were looking crappy even back then and were just a random and incohesive selection of a vastly greater set of cards. My hope was to replace them with top quality images, but for different reasons, this plan has not come to fruition yet. Since questions regarding the whereabouts of these images resurface from time to time, however, I have uploaded them to a temporary folder for the time being. Here they are:

City of Traitors silver border dark
City of Traitors silver border light
City of Traitors black frameset
City of Traitors blue frameset
City of Traitors gold frameset
City of Traitors green frameset
City of Traitors red frameset
City of Traitors white frameset
Fighting Chance silver border light
Oath of Lieges +1
Oath of Lieges silver border light
Oath of Lieges silver border dark
Oath of Lieges silver border very dark
Pygmy Hippo silver border light
Survival of the Fittest +1

There are 24 versions of the City of Traitors misprint. You can see a list of all them as well as for all other cards here: http://www.magiclibrary.net/rarities-test.html

I can not confirm every single version listed there, but from puzzling together the information I had, it seems very likely. Note that the different levels of brightless (from very dark to very light) I used to distinguish the silver bordered versions are an incomplete approach what really sets apart these cards from each other and have to be replaced sometime.

There was a set for sale some time ago for $1000 each for the bad cards and $2000 each for the good ones.

Hi.
Why the "Hmmm..."?
Our cards are 100% Authentic. The authenticity of all our cards have been verified by Troll and Toad executives. All pictures are of actual item.
This seller has Great auctions, but the prices and Shipping are awfully expensive :-(
