P3K nm set value

What is the current value of a nm/m P3K english set? On ebay some guys are asking about $2000 for it, but is that not way high?

I don't know exactly the price, but Troll and Toad had a set on ebay for long time on "buy it now" at 1K$.

Yes, but now thier price is $1800.

Has this set just go up in value in the last 6 months?

Yes, besides the cards that have always been high (Imperial Seal and Zodiac Dragon), we now have several other cards which have soared in value:

RARES -

Rolling Earthquake (destroys both flying and non flying creatures)
Overwhelming Forces
and, to a lesser extent,
Capture of Zinghou
Ravages of War

UNCOMMONS -

Strategic Planning
Loyal Retainers
and, obviously, Imperial Recruiter

Also, I believe several collectors who had missed this set in the past are trying to catch up, and finding out how hard it is to complete (it took me six years and P3K weren't legal yet).

Yes Strategic Planning is a key card since the limitation of Branstorm and Ponder.

Ebay has an average sell price of around 800 Euro. That's less than 1000 USD. Maybe due to the rise of the price of some cards 1200 USD but not more..
So I would say 1200 USD private and what shops list it for is another thing.

That right there is $425.

I dunno, I'd say a NM English set should be $1200-1300

So, i was been very lucky to buy it some time ago (2005/2006) for 300$ ...

...... at that time seemed a high price ....

Ach ... i'll never succeed in buying the chinese P3K set ..... >:-(

Too late! I sold mine a few weeks ago for € 125 (~US $ 158). I can still buy these at € 150 (~US $ 189) though ...
