I strongly recommend you to not spend a dollar on this. I made the error to purchase one, without knowing exactly what it was : a piece of b&w regular paper badly cut, that you can easily make yourself with a 20 old year home printer. Its authenticity is impossible to prove.

I can give you the price I paid for my mahamoti playtest card : 150$ !!!! and the buyer, known member of this forum, is not (weirdly) even answering my mails requesting a return (I asked to return it, even with a discount, the day it arrived...).

You can't imagine how stupid I feel now.

I bought a fallen empires one for my collection, and I will say that even though you are correct that it is just a piece of paper, I still appreciate it greatly. I bought it from Slinga so I do not doubt it's authenticity. It is cool to have something from the beginning. On mine, I got to know Jeff Menges from meeting him at T1 shows in NY each year, so I got him to sketch in the art from the fallen empires card that it it. I will post a pic of it here.

Just my thoughts. Jason

maybe the fallen empire ones are different : they're bigger (and maybe on cardboard ?)

but the alpha one is just on very thin (and very normal) printer paper, and the quality of the impression is really bad.

I perfectly understand that some people might enjoy theirs, I just don't want another member to make the same mistake I made by giving them the informations I didn't have at the time.

Thanks for that, it is good we look out for each other. I am not saying in any way that other people will enjoy it. Just sharing my experience also. Jason

Actually I give more credibility to the cards that are plain as art was still a thing of the future when these were printed:

And the next page.

And i just haven't had the time to try and dig them out to see if there is a disenchant among them. If there is we will talk.
