Misprint clarification

Post by l0qii » Thu Sep 25, 2008 4:34 am

Serra Elemental, is this a Serra Angel or a Time Elemental? Can someone provide a scan of the NON misprint one, whichever exists?

Same for the french BB Revised Aladdin/Jandor's Ring misprint. Which is it?

I don't think the Serra was ever corrected. I'm not sure which card it'd be, tournamentwise.

Right, but was it a Serra or an Elemental? If it is a Serra, then there is a correct Time Elemental card, or vice versa. I am looking for the scan of the correct cards as verification for which one the misprint is supposed to be.

I'm 90% sure it is a Serra Angel.

EDIT: Yes, it is. I just googled "serra elemental" in the Images search and squt's page had it ...

Ah sorry! squt's page says ...

So this seems to say that there are normal Spanish BB Serra Angels :-k

That's exactly what I'm trying to clarify.

Misprints

For me / in my collection it's a time elemental with Serra text and name.
The other is an Aladdin's Ring with the pic of Jandor's Ring.

Just my 50 cent.

In a tournament what matters is the name of the card.
So the first one is a Serra Angel and the second one is an Aladdin Ring.

A good point, but I'm trying to make complete sets. I need to know which card I am missing.

Gosh, wish I had an uncut rare sheet that would solve the problem for sure. Does anyone even have a picture of one?

I'm about 90% certain that i own a spanish BB serra angel, which is what i based that statement on. That also makes this card a 'rare' instead of an uncommon, which seems to be supported by its rarity.
