MTG Land panoramas/diptych/triptych etc

Post by Fiber13 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 9:34 pm

Question about land panoramas.

We all know about the Ice Age plains pieces, the Lorwyn triptychs etc.

Is there a list of every one of them?

I can only find this:

And the greater question....are they all in private hands? :-)

I have Tony Roberts' Mirage forests and I don't see them referenced anywhere. Are there other instances like this one?

Can't help with your enquiry but that is a nice bit of land!

I have been toying with collecting lands since that art came out on the cards, I already knew the Ice Ages went together but the art was pretty mediocre.

These lands were some of the first which had real details and real effort put into them. The fact that they went together really made them stand out. From about then onwards I made sure that no two lands in my decks had the same art (Except my short lived Snow-covered lands deck ~ it was terrible)

This was the main reason I bough starter decks, so I could get the lands!

Thanks for showing the painting, I always assumed it was different paintings that went together, never thought it was one painting which they cut up.
