Hi!

I've got a few English Portal: Three Kingdoms cards that are extremely glossy on the surface. It's very noticeable when looking at them under a light. I've heard of glossy Ice Age, but not glossy P3K... Does anyone know anything about this?

It's possible that they are fake, but they feel quite real apart from their glossiness and they do pass the bend test. I've not been able to look at them under a microscope yet.

What cards are they?

Very random cards... the ones I have in front of me right now are:

Commons:
Return to Battle
Forced Retreat
Yellow Scarves Troops
Forest Bear
Zodiac Dog

Uncommons:
Coercion
Renegade Troops
Trip Wire

I do believe I own more, but the rest are sleeved in my P3K binder which means they are much harder to notice. I might remove them from the sleeves to check someday, but not today

I noticed an extremely glossy P3K card recently as well. I can look through and see if I have any more.

Perhaps false ones take care.

They're legit, Ive got several myself. Thought about making that alternate set as well, but decided I'd be better off shooting myself in the face. If you're going for it, I'll let you know which I have when I return.

It would be a funny set to put together, for sure... but as you say, it would probably be an impossible task I would need the five cat cards at any rate, though.

Edit: A quick question: Does the glossy printings exist in the Asian languages too or just English?
