Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone
I reached a significant milestone in my Alpha collection today... 9.6 Beckett GPA! My goal for Alpha is to get all cards to 4x 9.5 sub-grades or better, and my average GPA now reflects that grade. Of course, within the average I still have lots of work to do. Happy collecting to all!

Re: Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone
Quite an accomplishment, congrats!
Re: Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone
Congratulation ! Did you found who own the 9.5 mox sapphir ?
I collect old MTG cards.
Re: Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone
the Mox Sapphire was located... and is for sale. Unfortunately it's a mis-graded card. It should be an 8.5 or 9, not the sole 9.5. The price the seller wants could be possible if the card deserved the grade, but as-is I think there's a large gap between the price being asked and reality.
Beckett has even admitted the card was mis-graded after they were shown detailed pictures. My 9 is nicer than the 9.5, as are several other Sapphires I have seen.

Re: Significant (to me) Alpha Milestone
Do you have your alpha collection scanned ? Is it possible to see it somewhere on the web ?
I realy would like to see it.
I think the best alpha set is either your set or Len's set or Dave's set ...
there is no other with alpha set graded 9.5-10 right ?

I'm going to scan it and post to Beckett someday... maybe in 2016. It is not currently scanned
