New IDW Magic comics.

Post by mystical_tutor » Sun Jul 14, 2013 9:12 pm

Comic shop just told me there would be a new IDW Magic comic coming out in October.

Title is Theros and it is assumed there will be a 4 comic series like before. No hint yet about what card will be in it.

Well, it turned out to be a 5 mag series... I was able to get all the cards scanned.

That Wash Out is real interesting. I wonder if any of the present generation (the Modern generation?) has ever heard of Dwarvan Song or Sylvan Paradise, heavens gate, sea kings blessing or touch of darkness.

This should work in a table full of commander decks. "I'm playing sea king's blessing and all creatures I do not control are now blue. Now I'm playing Wash out and choosing blue. The only creatures left on the board would be mine and those with hexproof or shroud.

In any case, my shop has no info on if another set is in the pipeline. Has anyone heard anything?
