Unhinged 8-ball life counter prize

I have one of these.  They go for a quite a bit on ebay (although, it looks like their value has gone down just now).  Since they were only given out 3 per each Unhinged Release site, what estimates might we have to the actual number of them made?

I don't know if this really works out because i heard from some release tournaments in germany where not only the first 3 places got that lifecounter.  Some additional were supposedly given out at random.
Also there are only the locations listed. Can we be sure there was only one realease tournament held per listed location? (compared to normal prereleases were more than one tournament is held at the same time/day)
At least if all locations listed held one tournament we can get the minimum of distributed lifecounters.

Just like with the Judge promos, the numbers are quite skewed, the event I went to did 3 runs and still had 5-10 they were selling, and all of the card shops back in Hawaii got about 50 promo Ass Whoopins and 10 life counters each, even though not a one of them was having a release event. They just sold and gave them away. WOTC distribution team must really suck to screw up that bad, the stores had no idea why they were getting them...
