here's the question:
Okay, so if I generate a list of a card I'm interested in (merfolk of the pearl trident in my case) with the Mtg Checklist Generator ,
I get Starter 2000 cards in 6 languages and 7th Ed Starters in 9 languages...
...which I thought implied these were unique cards, however the library has this to say about starter 2000--68. Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
69. French Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
70. Spanish Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
71. Italian Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
72. German Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
73. Japanese Starter 2000 (DiTerlizzi)
74. Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
75. French Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
76. Spanish Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
77. Italian Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
78. German Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
79. Portuguese Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
80. Japanese Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
81. Chinese-T Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
82. Chinese-S Seventh Edition Starter (Ray Lago)
And yes, I see we have a list of those 20 unique cards in the library. Â The other 54 cards, like the MotPT however are 6th edition right? Â My point -- can you tell a Starter 2000 card from its counterpart in 6th edition? Â Is it the same card missing the 'VI' set symbol perhaps? Â I know Starter 1999 cards had the star symbol but I don't have a Starter 2000 card and I'm trying to figure out if I need one---um, or 6 of them actually. The Starter 2000 box set contains:
74 cards (54 6th Edition cards + 20 unique cards)
Same question about the 7th edition starter cards -- are they distinguishable from normal 7th edition cards?
Thanks
