culling of inactive members part 1

Dear members,

Now that the forum is liberated from all the obsolete and useless posts from ages past, it is time to filter through the clustered memberlist and remove all members who no longer participate in this community or, more often, never have participated at all.

I have added a list at the end of this post. All members named in this list will be removed on the 26th of March. If they wish to stay registered, they can contact me and ask not to be suspended. All affected members wiill be contacted by emall about their imminent deletion.

Note: Members became listed if they fulfilled the following three criteria:

1. They have been registered at least for a year.
2. They have not posted anything worthy to be archived since their registration.
3. They have not posted anything at all during the last three months.

I've seen MODs that can automate this process. Unfortunately, I have no idea what they are, off hand..

That said, this MOD should make the process of deleting users easier:

(you can sorta delete users en masse as opposed to having to look up each member before deleting them)

Ralph: A small poiint to make is that you should alphabetize this list so members can see if they are on the list. I did it for you:

I am happy this list receives some attention. :-)

TerraFrost: Thanks for the hint. Applying this MOD will cause trouble, however, as it is said not to be compatible with the latest board software version (which I use). I do not worry too much, though. Deleting all these members one by one should be possible within fifteen minutes.

mintcollector: Great job, thank you!

pp: Your member account is a mystery. When I click on your profile and then on "Find all posts by pp", the search turns out nothing. I recalled you being an active member, but since I could not find any posts, I assumed I was wrong.

dragsamou: The account Plastered Dragon is indeed Chuck's old account. Since he created a new account called Plastered_Dragon, his old account can be deleted. There are other cases of multiple member accounts.

all: If somebody has an idea why member pp's account behaves as strangely as explained above, please let me know. Is it possible that his member name is too short?

So member names have at least to be three characters long. I will recheck all old members with one or two characters names for existing posts. I hate this search function! >:-(

More seriously,I have checked few things,with examples:
rg=605 Posts not available
Are=1 Post not available.
Guru=2 Posts not available.

More infos:So many Members(3 Letters Minimum) with Only 1/3 Posts but those are not available,but Member raptor his Only Post is available.
