I currently reside in Madison, WI. It's a nice city with 7 gaming stores, as well as being able to see Dan Bock's rarity collection. (Inc. Most/All of Summer Rev. and 4th) He's just one of those interesting people that once you get to know has some amazing things to share.

Spijkenisse, the Netherlands (near Rotterdam, but hey ... we are such a small country that Spijkenisse is near any major city in both the Netherlands and Belgium!)

Bah, Dan's a short guy, and I bet I could beat him in a foot race to my car after I grabbed all his stuff..;-)

(I know Dan used to read this, but I doubt he still does..hehe)

I live about 20 minutes NW of Pastimes in Wheeling (about 10 mintues NE fo Woodfield Mall).  I'm there on a now and again Friday, but not regularly.  squt from here is also in the area and lives in Schaumburg.  I'm much more of a casual player and often play privately, or just go and hang out and Pastimes.  Any chance you might be willing to go to Pastimes to meet sometime?  I can get a hold of squt to see if he can go (his wife is expecting, so his time may be limited).  Also sylvanstu has been very busy with work, as he even had to miss the Fifth Dawn pre-release.  I've been trying to arrange a meet time with him as he has cards on hold for me I need to get from him that I can't get anywhere else.

I've heard that Des Plaines and Westmont have pretty competitive play, but I'll have to look up the store names.

I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, not too far from the Kentucky border. I frequent shows in Columbus & Indy fairly often. Not too bad of an area...

I seem to have this area all to myself, most of you are a few states away, if not further. I just started studying French, so in a few years I'll have to visit a few of you!

I am studying "France French". I started about a month ago, so I am no good at this point, that's for sure. I have a translation/ pronunciation book that a friend of mine & I read (she & I each have our own copy). I also watch the news in French, it has English translations across the bottom. With my limited knowledge at this point, I seem to do a lot of reading with little actual comprehension.  It does give me a better grip on the culture, though.

But this is no "school thing", my friend & I simply decided to do this & so far so good. I'm further along than I thought I'd be now. I will have to look for an outlet to apply the knowledge- once I get a reasonable grip on it- so that I don't forget what I've learned.
