What stupid card do you collect?

Dakmor Sorceress from either Portal II or Starter.  I collect them regardless of condition, but these are not as easily obtained as many might think being from "fringe" sets.  You will always see me bidding on eBay on them, as long as they aren't horribly priced.  I also want to make a note of a standing offer of $5 for each Dakmor Sorceress anyone is willing to sell to me.

anyway, heh, the only person i know, irl, who collects one specific type of card, collects tranquelities.  i've heard rumors of someone who collects howling mines, but i take all rumors i hear with a very fine grain of salt,heh.

I completely forgot about my collection of Islands signed by friends, co-traders, and online buddies!!!

I know most of you sent me an Island signed (and sometimes modified!!). Thanks again. Anyone who forgot or didn't know...please feel free. I will return the favor with a signed land by me (if you request) or perhaps some cards for your collections :) :) :)

Though I currently have 52 Howling Mines, it's not because I "collect" them, it's because I put one in every deck I create. In my group of players, it helps move the game along quicker. When we play 4-person, with teams, we have an automatic Howling Mine after you've played 2 lands, whether or not the card is actually cast.

I think some are missing the point.  A Black Lotus or Summer Cards or even a $5 card doesn't represent a 'stupid card'.  I'm talking about the cards which people collect in mass which may only be worth a nickle at most and really qualify as just a 'free card'.

For example:

I just sent Dylan 18 Fyndhorn Brownies.

If Mr. C would IM his address, I'll send him 22 4th Ed and 5 BB Japanese Pieties.  (Sorry...for some reason I have no extra Walking Sponges)

If Rick21n would IM his address, I'll send him 1 Mirrodin, 5 Revised and 8 4th Ed Ornithopters.

...and if Fvzappa would IM his address, I'll send him 5 BB Japanese 4th Ed, 1 German 4th Ed, 2 Spanish 4th Ed, 28 Revised, 47 4th Ed and 6 5th Ed Frozen Shades as well as 2 5th Ed Marsh Vipers and a German BB Revised, German 4th Ed, 1 Revised, 3 4th Ed and 1 5th Ed Phantom Monster.

This is just a way for me to clear some room in my boxes for new stuff.  I have over 80,000 cards and they take up quite a lot of room.  

I don't mind spending a little money on postage to make someone else happy.   ;D  

Unless of course what you collect is Evil Eyes by Orms by Gore, then I'll choose to sit on those for now.   :P  Man...I got a million of those!
