ebay user names

Post by AXIOS » Tue Nov 04, 2003 8:38 pm

maybe a stupid idea, but how about posting your ebay user name over here?

I read here sometimes that one member is overbidding another one at ebay, maybe if we post here our user names the sorrow will be spared.

Mine is

Iluvatar_666

plz no long stories about apologies for overbidding  >:( at erich for the wyvern thing  ;), just your user name so we can use it as a sort of database.

Probably not gonna feel too bad for overbidding if I do, but my Ebay name is, strangely enough, Gryfalia.

I will rarely overbid, but that's because I bottom feed a lot, not because I bid high..;-)

I'll bid against anyone here if there is something I really want, but since you asked, I am mintcollector on eBay as well.

I agree with Mike. Something I really want, I bid on it. My ebay name is megustamagic. Those of you who know Spanish will be able to decipher that name.

I'm summermagicman on MOTL and a few other sites as well.

If you have any unopened alpha or beta starters or boosters for sale/trade please email me. I'm also looking for high grade alpha/beta cards. Thanks!

That's absolutely true, only some members "attack"  other members on this forum for unknowingly overbidding them.

Eric:  Nowadays I am mainly known as mintcollector most places.  In the high days of Napster I was known as technomancer and used to prowl the techno and trance boards.  I used to use that handle for awhile in a few other places as well.

Funny you should mention perpetual names.  I have been Gryfalia since high school (back in 1987).  Have used the name on IRC, AD&D, Magic, Everquest, College, Auctions in the old Usenet days, Nethack, heck, even my license plate is Gryf 99.

If you see a Gryfalia, it's me, for better or worse.

This is very true for me also.  Everything I have is Silver Paladin - email address, credit cards, Ebay, DnD, original chat stuff, and however many other numerous places I use it.  I even used to have letterhead.

At the moment, I am waiting to receive one CC that states my name as Silver Paladin, but all my login names for my CCs are Silver Paladin.
And in the old days when computers only allowed 10 letters for a name, I was known as AgPaladin, for obvious reasons.
