MoonSprite and I are impressed with the diligence, perseverance, and tenacity that many of you have shown when it comes to your respective "global" sets. Bravo! =D>

Although we do not have a website, we do have our own little global sets that we are quietly, patiently, (and slowly) working on. ;D

Moon Sprite (14 card set)
Eternal Witness (16 card set)
Elvish Ranger (female/ T. Neilsen art) (6 card set)

Vulshok Sorcerer (16 card set)
Jeska, Warrior Adept (18 card set)
Serra Angel (91 card set)

It's been a bit of a challenge in obtaining many of the non-English versions, so any assistance in helping us locate them would be appreciated. Our list would be happily provided on request.

Happy hunting to all!
May you get what you need, and not what you deserve. :P

Christopher Rush

Though i of each card is all I want. I don't need anery language. And I don't want a Lotus. I'll be happy with the oversized one. :p

I'm also collecting the 100 Worst Cards in the Game (Ben Bleiweiss's article on starcitygames). Some of these are tugh to find.

And finally, I'm trying to get as many sylvok explorers as possible (I suck at this. currently only 88)

I'm not particularly seeking foreign cards but I am currently collecting Kev Walker foils and promos. I don't currently have any sort of website set up for it(aside from my MOTL list) but I have alot left to get.

Stone Rain Project v2.0

Post by Plastered_Dragon » Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:32 am

I began the original Stone Rain Project in 2001. I've noticed since then tat many global set projects have shown up and I think that is just the coolest thing ever.

I quit collecting in 2003, but came back into it about a month ago. The original SRP website has been reengineered into a blog and is completely javascript-driven (I set a few flags, and when pages are visited they are automatically generated from the latest collection data.)

The new SRP website is: http://stonerainproject.blogharbor.com/. (The original page has been replaced with a pointer to the new page.)

Please put me down on your list of global set collectors!

Heh!

Thanks! I'm thinking I should include a page about Global Set Collectors on the Stone Rain Project website, a jumping off point with links to websites for those who have them, or links to say e-mail addresses, or MOTL refs pages, or eBay feedback, for those who don't. Would people be interested in that sort of thing?

Thanks for the comment about my username... there's a whole story behind it. I'll tell you about it sometime.
