Dragon*Con dates over the years

Can somebody help me to track down the exact days Dragon*Con took place each year? I had contacted the organizers, but - believe it or not - they could not tell me :-||

i have attended every year since 1995. i will try to dig up dates for other years. it has always been held either fourth of july weekend or labor day weekend since i have attended, mostly labor day.

I'm no don juan, but I don't think you should take a date to a gaming con.

searching my very elaborate filing (piling) system i have come up with the following:
june 26-29, 1997
july 1-4, 1999
august 29-september 1, 2003
further archeological excavations may produce additional information.
