Value: Albino Card (ex Misprint or Proof?)
I was refered to this forum from the offical wizards forum.
I have a Sea Serpent which has a normal Magic back and the front is all Black and White (the picture and text is black and the background is all white) Â This card is signed by the Artist who drew it Jeff Menges. Â I have recently found this in some cards I have put away and I have no clue anymore whether this was a misprint or a proof by the artist. Â I would provide pics but I have no camera or scanner to do so. Â Does anyone have a clue as the worth or what this card might be?
Thanks

Re: Misprint or Proof?
it is a so called albino card.
Their value fluctuates a lot, but you can get a lot of money for it.
how much....i leave that to some other people to tell.
alexis, mike?

Re: Misprint or Proof?
Hi.
I will estimate that card between 25/35$,as the previous Albino Card sold on Ebay for that Price.
A Collector missing it in his Collection may offer more.
I have seen also different Albinos for 100/150$.
Hope this help.

Re: Misprint or Proof?
An artist proof will have normal coloring on the front side but the back side of the card is plain white. Since the front is not colored and the back is normal, it's an "albino" as people here have said.

Re: Misprint or Proof?
Yes, please let us know about the set.
Last Albino seen on eBay went for $34.
However, it was a Mirrodin card, not an old 4th ed. Albino card.
Regards,
Eric.
