It looks vaguely like a monster that I've seen drawn by Rush on a 'bolt, but its kinda generic, so it could be either, i suppose.  All 3 items (2 sigs and the sketch) look to have been done by different pens, so thats no help.

Do you consider this possible ?
I think it's entirely possible. I have a few cards altered by Garfield and the ink matches his sig better than Rush's.

I can say with 99% certainty that that dragon was done by Rush, as he did a nearly identical drawing on a Proof Su-Chi I got from him at worlds. I'm sure it must be one of his less-used pictures though, as I only saw a few other cards he did it on. If it wasn't him then it's a VERY good fake.

Hello,

I know this is far from the original subject of this thread, but..

I'm going to meet Christopher Rush here in France in about 2 months. Do you guys think I should let him alter the art of My Unlimited Black Lotus ? (I'd say it's in NM condition)

I've already done this with 3 Unlimited Moxen when I met Dan Frazier, the result is pretty cool, but what if I want to sell them afterwards ?

So, what do you think ?

thanks

Of course you should.  It's cooler.  And as for resale, well, I'd value it higher.  If I could pay for the card in the first place.  Though I don't see why you'd ever want to sell a card with artist modifications.

well, as far as possible I'd like to keep them, but since I'm a student, I'm likely to have money problems  [smiley=dissappointed.gif]

You could compared the lotus with this one:

the number of unsigned lotuses is becoming less and less.  I say just leave the bugger alone.

Not true.  I do not have a single signed card, they all were thrown out a while ago (that I can remember).  ;D

I finally got the answer to my questions, assuming what this Ebay seller writes is true:

Two things, I do not owned a signed card either...nor will I probably ever (please note this excludes the one and only AP I own, which really aren't cards per say).  I don't like anyone scribbling on my cards.

Secondly, the Unlimited Lotus up on eBay is overdraded, and not due to the scribbles on it.  The back is horrid and not even close to NM.  The back alone drops this card down to fine.
