Foil Sword of kaldra

Hello all..

me and a friend opened a foil sword of kaldra this past weekend, the problem is it has the prerelease characteristice but dont have the PR date.

i dont have a scanner of a digital cam or i would put a pic of it up.

does anyone have any idea about this?

Does it have the foil set symbol above the text box or why do you think it's a prerelease one?

It has the alt art and the mirrodin symbol in the text box. the card number for it has a star infront of the card number. *251/306

And you have opened an original (not a faked) booster containing that card? That's odd  ???

Nope not from NJ i kno a few ppl from there (via the Type 1 Championships held in richmond Va.)


i still havent found any info about it do any of you kno the value or what not of it?

this sort of thing usually sells for $20-$40.  I havent seen any Mirrodin ones, but other foil prerelease cards missing the dates are not that uncommon.

First off, sorry for reviving a dead topic...

I opened a Mirrodin booster pack, which I bought at Wal-Mart, and in the pack, I got two rares: Krark's Thumb and a Foil Pre-Release Sword of Kaldra with no date printed on it. I figured it was relevant because it added credibility to this story, and this means there are probably more of them out there.

Again, sorry to revive an old topic, but since it is related, I felt it was justified.
