While I feel the first auction ended up in a bidding war, a second appearance of such items proves there must be more out there.  Even if there were only 2 such decks, a second appearance of one has de-valued any such misprints.  I will give him credit that he did want to sell them cheaper than $13100 though.  Bad move on his part listing it under Harry Potter though.

Has anyone from the Forum ever personally seen and touched one of these Harry-Potter-backed cards?

I think about 20 forum members and some private collectors bought the previous deck, under the lead of dragsamou ;)

No Muldoon, we didn't. We came in 2nd place on the bids, i.e. we lost.

I doubt anyone has seen them. The best I can say is I met a judge who claims to have met the winner. He (the winner) said that if any more surface, he's screwed because the value will drop exponentially. He apparently realises that, but the owner of the other deck does not...

Maybe, just maybe, these are it. Goblin deck on one half of the sheet, max attack on the other.

Hi Keith  :)
Right we lost,we get outbid at 13100$,I(With M.R Members we have bet 13000$).At that time, one of my Safe contact mentioned to me immediately the Existance of another Goblin Deck, meaning that 2 will exist, now In case this Green Deck is Real,we have no proof for the moment, that means, there's a possibility that 4 Different H.P.decks Exist,I won't be surprised if others will show up in the Future,in that case,Mr JLtoolman is a Huge looser, because to have paid 13100$ for a Deck that was supposed to be Unique is one Deal, but,if more are showing up,it's another story, and in that case,I'd rather be(With M.R.Members)the looser of that First auction, than the Supposed Owner of a "Non" Supposed Unique H.P Deck  ;)

i think it might still be in jltoolman's interests to bid high on this auction, so that he can keep a virtual monopoly on them.  of course, the less unique they become, the harder that "monopoly" on them will be to maintain.

also, i would say that the last auction *wouldn't* have reached anywhere near $13,100 if it weren't for our participation.  the fact that we're not interested as much as would be required to bid what we did last time is just more proof for ya that this auction isn't going to go very well, heh.

I would have to agree. Even in the beginning it was a few of us in the lead as individuals. Squt lead, I lead, etc. And to top it off, this deck isn't unplayed.

ok, ill be surprised if this sells for more than $2500. if its real (a big if), then theres at least 4 cof them out there. The cards are played and the seller lost two of them.

a cool rarity, dont get me wrong, but who wants to spend thousands on an incomplete,  hashed deck. i dont see this selling for too much, but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Not that I have of, but Scrye did do a feature article on this auction and had a picture of the store owner holding up the auction win cards.
