Serum Tank misprints

Post by flatmatt » Mon Mar 01, 2004 5:58 am

I bought a couple of Mirrodin Bait & Bludgeon precons at Borders yesterday, and I just noticed that both of the Serum Tanks had blue ink smears on them.  This is a scan of the lesser inked of the two:

Is this a common misprint?

Well yes and no.  A lot of Mirrodin misprints I have seen are smudged like this.  Other sets outside of Mirrodin not as much.....at least for what I have seen.

I have a couple Saga black ink smears. Try to see how many you can pick up that look like that. How many cards do you have smeared like that. I might be interested if you have a few.

Heh, I didn't realize that image was still there.  :)

I still have these two Serum Tanks as well as an AEther Spellbomb with fainter blue "smudging" (and a second Spellbomb that's so faint you wouldn't notice without the first smudged one).

Also, if you're interested in this kind of thing, I have two Urza's Saga Pegasus Chargers with an ink blot misprint on the back:

I looked at your MOTL list, I have some Beta Grizzlies and some signed stuff by Ron Spencer, if you are interested.

If they are, I might be interested in the snow-covered lands.
