German/French ultra-rare "fake" misprint

Post by Tha_Gunslinga » Sat Sep 03, 2005 9:27 pm

Hey, you know the german/french misprints Squt mentions on his error site, the test print ones?

I have a Wall of Wood that has the picture of a Plains, and it has a French copyright line and a German name. I can get a scan in a day or two.

What's this worth, and does anyone know anything about it?

I only know what's on my site - I'm pretty sure they were test prints of some kind, since the paper they're printed on seems a bit off from normal cards. The pegusus I own I acquired through Amy Weber who sold it online, and she said WOTC gave it to her.

There's just too darn many problems with them to be an accident - The picture's wrong, copyright line is in a different language too. Maybe someone made them up as a joke?

I'd certainly pay $50 for the wall of wood, but I'm sure you could get much more than that from other more wealthy collectors.
