Blue Woolly Spider & Misprint Double Take

Post by SacredSin » Wed Apr 13, 2005 7:05 am

I have a woolly spider that is clearly a blue card, it has the casting cost for two blue forests, it does not look like sun damage. another very visible mistake is that instead of the regular "wood" backing on where the wording is, it is a grey back..  this green card almost got sorted into my blue cards,

I also have an unfinished print for Unglued's Double Take, It's picture is only printed blue and white and a light pink.    could these be uncommon misprints??

Here are the scans,  let me know what you all think.
They are both in english...
Any imput??

A counterfeit?
A really worn card?
A good-quality proxy?
Photoedited/photocopied?
Filmed with special camera settings, or light source?

Even if it is genuine, I can't consider it MISprint. It has no errors, it is just bad print quality. Consider real misprints - infamous 'blue Hurricane', for example.

the printer got low on ink during the printing process,

unless such cards are completely black and white (see ebay at this moment as we speak ;)  ) they aren't worth a lot, maybe a couple of bucks.

I'm no expert, but I'm 95% sure these were caused by sun damage(being left in a car, or sitting in a sunbeam)
