Rippled Cards
Here is a printing defect that I don't think I have seen anywhere else. These cards all came out of packs that I opened.
It looks like there was some kind of ripple in the sheet they were cut from, and you can follow the ripple across the three cards - it shows you where they were in relaton to each other on the sheet.

Re: Rippled Cards
You have no links at all, but I think the effect you are mentioning is what collectors here call crimped. There are a couple crimp collectors here if this is what you are speaking of. Images would help tell this though!

Re: Rippled Cards
I spent about 2 hours trying to get this to work properly, and apparently it only works for me when I'm signed into my Yahoo account.

Re: Rippled Cards
Now I see what you are saying. I have never seen anything like this before. A misprint collector really prizes errors when they span cards in formats like this. I think you might get some offers on this soon.

What are the Homelands cards on Top?If they are Homelands pass from that event,I'm interested.PM me.
Re: Rippled Cards
I think this "misprint" happens when the cardboard doesn't run correctly stretched through the roll or there are foreign substances on the roll.
I had some Alliances like those ... now they are fragment by my kids ;D

Ralph,
Thanks again for helping with the images. Â I thought some people would be interested in seeing these cards. I just overestimated my ability to deliver the images properly.

Re: Rippled Cards
very nice misterpid. Another good misprint :)
Obviously caused not by packaging, but by some sort of problem *before* the print sheet is cut.
However, like many other misprints (crimps, ink smears, etc) this is probably the EASIEST to fake. Seeing as its just takes some pressure and a soft but small tool. If anyone would like proof... at some point I will opt to "make" some of these and put up scans ;)

Re: Rippled Cards
Hi !
I have a Jester's Cap of this, too. Wanna know the secret ?
Accidently a friend of mine rolled over the card with his
(rolling) chair. The card was in a 9er sleeve so the markings
are quite soft. So it's indeed very easy to replicate this kind of a misprint as Tenacious_Dyl stated.
However I don't assume that you did it THAT way ;)
Greetings
