wierd junk on ebay
no idea if this belongs here, but I often find the wierdest rare junk on ebay. For instance, this magic the gathering army edition playmat. Where else is anyone going to learn about this stuff?

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Re: wierd junk on ebay
I've never seen one of those playmats before. I have the Archangel T-Shirt from the Military league (had Chris Rush sign it at our 5th Dawn Prerelease).
Amazing some of the things you run across if you look long enough.

Sorry for necro, but.....
I got the military league playmat. Didn't get the rest of the junk, though.
This thing is quite interesting. It's got a 1997 copyright date and a WOC code. Has anyone ever seen a WOC number on a friggin' playmat?
BTW... its WOC99193.

This was a promo item that was given to retailers, or at least those that WoTC considered to be retailers. It was part of an envelope these retailers were given, including a newsletter and sometimes other odd promo items such as mobiles.alliances post card, never seen this post card before:

Dry_Cereal,
I picked it up just 'cause I wanted the pens. ;D
I use them at work, and they always seem to disappear, so these will be easy to find. They're neat souvenirs.

Re: wierd junk on ebay
Would it be possible to get one of those magnets? I would have bid on it, but it was US only, no Canada! :(Dry_Cereal,

The magnets are the only items I had interest in, and truly, just one would be good. Thanks.

Re: wierd junk on ebay
I would be happy to part with a magnet. I'm not sure what I'd do with them anyway, though I'll probably put the other one on my fridge. I'll let you know when they arrive, though you might IM me in a week or two if you haven't heard from me. Of course, if you happen to live in Bimidgi (not sure of spelling), you could drive down and visit the Twin Cities. :)Would it be possible to get one of those magnets?
