Self sealing card protectors.

Post by Doymecca » Wed Mar 21, 2012 5:59 am

Not sure where this topic goes.

I recently received some cards that arrived in what amounts to kmc perfect fits, however they have flaps that seal the card similar to a team bag or bubble mailer. Anyone have an idea what they are called and where I can buy them?

Thanks in advance
~Andy

Andy,

I WANT to say I've seen them here in Japan. I should be able to look around Friday and Saturday, and if I can, I'll let you know if I find them, price, qty in each package, etc.

Can you fit a whole booster in one and still seal it?

I will try when I'm home, but I seriously doubt it since it's perfect-sized for cards.

The self-sealing pouches left over from the KMC perfect fit sleeves would probably work really well for the booster packs, but I don't know how to get a large lot of the pouches without buying a lot of card sleeves.

I currently use little polypropylene bags and sticking tape, it can keep me quiet for hours after a large parcel arrives, quite theraputic really.

Clay, when your on one of your scouting missions please note if the three ring binder close topped 9-card pages are available there. I see them in binders from time to time but never anywhere for purchase.

I know where to find those =D> they come in packs of 8, and cost generally $4-5 at the current exchange rate. How many sheets total are you wanting?

I'd like 100. If they come in a box of 100 you may be able to get a discount but don't worry about it.

Did the cards ever get to you that I sent to the old address?

Clay, a friend of mine has also been looking for these sheets. Let me know about the sleeves and we can make arrangements for both.

All,

I found a source for the pages at 350 Yen (or converted $4.27) per pack of 8 sheets. The pages are made by a company called yanoman (http://www.yanoman.co.jp). The page with the product's information is
http://www.yanoman.com/cgi-bin/shop/inv ... 索結果

I could not find sleeves with self-sealing flaps.
