Knowing what I paid for the C4 War Veteran promo, I can't imagine what the artwork cost :p

Take it easy,

Then you might know my good friend that I had dinner with a couple weeks ago named Larry.

I collect WWII memorabilia also. But not weapons, only things like autographs, handwritten diaries and captured flags. I've literally bought stuff that was in the process of being thrown away.
Captured Hinomaru Yosegaki (writing around the sun) flag presented to an unknown soldier
Autograph of Desmond Doss, a conscientious objector who saved 100 lives under gunfire at Okinawa using a knot he invented to lower his wounded company down an escarpment. He never carried a weapon during the war.
Autograph of Hershel Williams, last surviving Medal of Honor Recipient from the Battle of Iwo Jima
Personalized autograph of former OSS Spy Frederick Mayer receiving his war medals. He lived in obscurity until 2013 when someone sought him out and he finally received all of his awards due from the war. He was a European refugee who served in the OSS for America during the war. Among other things he helped blow up 27 trainloads of supplies. Eventually he was captured but unbelievably he convinced his captors to surrender their stronghold at Innsbrook Austria. This act saved many American, German and Austrian lives. There is a show about him called "The Real Inglorious Bastards." He only lives about 10 minutes from me. Due to the size it won't align correctly, if you want just click the link and it will straighten out.

I was cleaning up a huge mess of boxes filled with non-mtg stuff and I came across this box. Can someone tell me why I have so many of these bloody things (besides the fact I'm crazy)?

Only explanation I can come up with is that you used to own a games shop which went broke because you stocked up on Rage and Wyvern instead of Magic products.berkumps wrote:...Can someone tell me why I have so many of these bloody things...
I can't think of any other reason to buy so many unless you were hoping to open enough boosters to wallpaper your bedroom with this card...

I have another explanation, Mark stock those hoping that Rage cards will have a MTG Back, or MTG cards with a Rage back
