Have you ever shipped international with UPS/FedEx? Which do you prefer?

FYI Postal Strike Begins Today in Canada

Post by l0qii » Fri Jun 03, 2011 3:08 pm

To anyone buying/selling in Canada, be aware that the postal workers began a rolling 24 hour strike yesterday that will move from city to city. Consider using either UPS or FedEx to ship your packages if you want to avoid delays.

Shoot!

Mark :-(

In my experience they are both very expensive for international.

UPS wanted 88.00 USD to ship to Germany compared to the 9.00 USD for the USPS. I'd imagine it's similiar in other countries.

FexEx is safer (no 6 foot drops) to ship with - it's what I send and buy computer parts with.

However they kinda suck because they still to this date, as far as I know, are unable to store packages at smaller locations (FedEX/Kinko's) making it very inconvient if you are unable to sign for something and have to end up driving or in my case taking 5 buses to a warehouse in the middle of nowheresville.
squt: Sweet! That's the best trade - one that doesn't cost a thing.
