In all this high end stuff I am afraid to post my little things.

On the other hand, These things are the real collecting world for us average joes.

Sent to me by Willard507. I really appreciate the SC, SP, and TC Khans cards and I did hand flips (well mentally at least) for the sealed Soldier token packet.
This will move right to the top of my token collection, even above my sealed Merit Lage package.

This was much before Christmas and a truly warmly received gift.

And to be up front about one thing:

Yes, Clay, I do love you like a son
No, Clay, you can not have the soldier tokens packet....

Sometimes I almost give up that I will ever find all of these but then a friendly nudge gives me hope again:

Yes. I'm not a terrible cook.

I recently got Mom to play Xbox. maybe by next Christmas she'll have learned how to play Magic, too!

Just got in several packages with hundreds of asian language promos, and as a result, this is the current status of the asian KTK promos.

Looks, great!. Did you say you were getting Russian too?

Looks like we might have a good start on the set but I really would like to have the other scans you promised first as we might be able to clear up some sections.

Now that I know what you have though I can start to plan for what we will still need.

Thanks in advance.

For reference:

Top left - Japanese
Top right - Korean
Bottom left - Simplified Chinese
Bottom right - Traditional Chinese

I do also have a bunch of Russian and German KTK promos. Haven't started collecting French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish yet.

I feel so bad for people who collect release promos. The task must be so daunting now.

Here is the spreadsheet (page 5). Hope I didn't miss anything. Looks like you have full sets of Korean and SC--congratulations. The contributions page is way behind as updating it gets prioritized out when up against adding more cards.

In addition to the daunting part is what bothers me even more and that is the loss of the identity of a "prerelease card for xxx" Even with the change to cards for guilds we went from a card for the expansion to a card for a guild--for me a totally different recognition. In reality the expansion is no longer "recognized" except with the launch party promo.

The result is that we have promo cards for guilds/Khans/etc and no longer care about the block or a given expansion in it. -- Kinda connected to the loss of T-shirts for expansions. I still love to ware my Tempest one, specially at GenCon. "Hay, I rember that set, fun bunch of cards". I have heard it more than once.

That's a good point. At least one could have some semblance of completion by stopping the collection at the last true pre-release.
