Difference between T-Chinese and S-Chinese

Post by Magic61983 » Fri Dec 04, 2009 5:26 pm

I thought I knew the difference but now I'm a little skeptical. Does anyone know the printing difference between S and T Chinese? One has a larger card name print I thought. Scans of the 2 on the same card would be a huge help.

S-chinese characters are a lot cleaner and for the lack of a better word, less superfluous. Traditional chinese characters were created to simulate pictorial representations of whatever meaning was behind the word, so that is a pretty useful rule of thumb to keep in mind. The simplest way to tell them apart is well, to note that traditional chinese cards have text taking up more space as well as having more strokes when compared next to a simplified chinese one.

If you still can't tell them apart, you could always ask me then.

T-Chinese looks to be more rounded and much close together where are S-Chinese looks to be smaller and spaced out a little better.

Thank you for your help.
