I found this this morning.

Personally I don't like them. I prefer Christopher Rush's work on the brainstorm cards.

What surprised me is that it was advertised on SCG.com

Is he an artist working for WOTC ?

Hi Patrick.
Yes,he's an MTG Artist,he has done 22 Cards for them.
