The Signed Card Project.3 Cards of each artist.Dead Serious.

So, despite people telling me i'm insane, this will never be possible, etctera, etctera, i'll do this.

Goal:

Three cards (one binder row) signed by Every Artist in the history of MtG.

Ambitious? Yep. Crazy? Certainly!

Will I follow through, considering I have announced 'The Legend Collection' and the 'FBB Project' and didnt complete it? Yes, i will.

I always liked signed cards, especially when the artists themselves signed them personally. So, i'll collect them.

Initially, i'll take up to four of each artist signed card. I'll pay premiums on Keith Parkinson signed cards, for obvious reasons, but, not much. People who have negotiated with me here in the past know i'm short on cash.

There are people here who have contacts with artists, such as Analog_Kid, whoim i'd ask a hand to get things moving. If anyone can help, offer me cards. Especially hard to find stuff such as Fay Jones and Andi Rusu.

Thanks, pm me with stuff.

not impossible, but think of Portal 3 kingdoms.. that will be a headache.
It will demand more time and money than your discarded projects.

Valter: I am assuming you would not just trade for what people have, but also try to use members locales and connections they may have. Here sometimes get an artist at our events here in Chicago. For example, we have RK Post lined up for the fall. You can use people to help you get signed cards. The reason I point this out as many artists will NOT sign cards via mail. They require you to see them in person. Sometimes this might prove very difficult. Also other artists make no mention of this at all o their websites and some others do not even have websites or any contact info on the web at all. Also not every artist knows English, whcih often is used in online conversing and emails from one country to another. You might need to procure help form membrs to help translate stuff like this for you. I think if you look at a lot more agressive routes like this versus just trying to trade for signed cards as you find them, you should be able to quickly complete a majority of your project and only be hunting down some of the tougher artists. I learned a lot of this the "hard way" as my new personal project is to try and get signed prints for artworks I really love. So this project has taken me down some of the many roads which you will need to go down yourself. I'd be more than glad to share my notes on this if you wanted to ask me any specific questions. My new collection is fledgling, but geared up for expansive growth soon.

Not impossible, but I'm willing to bet you will never complete such a project. Good luck trying though, and in 10 years when you are still searching I will maybe help you out ;)

Well, progress made already. Going to get some stuff signed by Greg Spalenka and Zina Sauders. Awaiting replies on Andi Rusu and a few other artsits. I'll proabably not get any signed cards from P3K nor Chinese Portal 1, so, i'll not put these into my little project, for now.

PM Me whoever has signed stuff.

agzz: I had 20 Terese Nielsen cards in portuguese for you, all pack fresh, but, i can't find it :'-( I'll look for it, tho, and i still want those sea drakes.

I have a few signed cards I'm willing to sell.

Rootwater thief, signed in gold by Ron spears.
Revised Balance, signed by Mark Poole, in black.
An Asian Tradewind rider, signed by richard Garfield, and john Matson.

I personally did'nt have these signed, I aquired them throught trades and such, so if you want pictures let me know, and I'll take some.

That's because it's signed by Peter Adkinson and not by Douglas Shuler. ;-)

Mr. C., I can send you 1 card each signed by the following artists:

Matt Cavotta
Quinton Hoover
Richard Sardinha (Cardpecker)
Arnie Swekel (Distorting Wake)
Pete Venters

As thanks for those Bears you're sending me. I just haven't decided yet which cards to send you from most of the artists! PM me your address and I can send them to you.
