You most likely won't get your money back in singles - too much of a gamble. The real joy of sealed (besides collectability) is that you can run drafts or tournaments with "older" stuff. Have some buddies over and run a sealed event - lots of fun, and you'll have the cards at the end to boot!!! :dan...

Yeah, sadly I have had to scale back all of my MtG purchases :'-( I will most likely be de-listing the majority of my PSA sets, since I have no plans to complete them in the next couple of years. For now I will continue to focus on my album set, along with a couple of side projects. Of course, if I ...

Hey All, I agree that the auctions are most likely not legit, but I just wanted to comment on the whole "borrowed scan" thing. I really get annoyed at sellers who list high-end premium cards that command large $$$ over your average run of the mill stuff, but then won't put up a unique picture to sel...

Wow - you guys are making me feel bad. I have been purging cards for years and lately have really begun to get serious (ie. tossing unsorted boxes of commons, selling large lots). I have reduced my collection by at least 80% and I STILL have around 35,000 cards... I always thought that was normal :-...

I agree - it is rather undervalued as a set. The problem is that BB=premium, so people don't want to pay extra for a wb card, no matter what set it's from (summer & oddities excluded). I started playing when Unlimited came out, and as such have had a lot of them. Over the years as I traded with peop...

I saw the same commercial, as well as one featuring the Prerelease card (Allosaurus Rider, I think) while I watched "Adult Swim" on the Cartoon Network - it was neat to see a MtG ad on the air again :-) The 5-day forcast commercial is just like the print ad inside the cover of this month's Scrye mag...
