Alexis: You didn't answer agzz's question. He was asking if since you get the promo card in the main event, are there ones given out on any side events like drafts or the like. agzz: If I had to guess (and this only is a guess) I would guess no. These style events are by invite/win only, and I am gu...

I am surprised this tidbit was not known. I recall reading this years and years ago and thought it was pretty public knowledge. I mean about the miscredit in addtion to the new art.

I like the new art, but it seems to be lacking the "green" aspect of the card. Also if anyone else cares, I dug around and found out that this card is labeled as "GP 2007". Coupled with the Eternal Dragon being "PT 2007", it begs the question of is this a new direction WOTC/DCI has gone in? I don't ...

I have been looking for many lists in foreign languages online with little success. I'd be interested to see links for official lists outside of English as well.

So basically from a M:TG collector point of view, card prizes are unchanged from 2006 Juniors. Door prize cards for all attendees.

Yes, "print dots" were very common in the early runs. Quality assurance was for crap early on. Many cards are ill-centered, have print dots or circles on them. While a printing flaw, these really aren't classically know as misprints since the early print runs were abound with these.

Yes my mistake Ralph. I mistook Reserved for Restricted. I dont mind the Reserved list personally, as it does protect the idea of a collectable investment. In fact I rather enjoy the idea of this list, as it usually helps fuel the value of my mint sets I have. It also protects the secondary market, ...

I'd also like to add that the Release cards also use a vastly different foiling technique. They use a wavy foil method which is easily distiguishable on sight as well, but the expansion symbol in the test box of the card is also a dead giveaway as pickle.69 pointed out.

Ralph: I strongly disagree with you on your Reserved/Banned list view. The purpose of this list is designed to preserve game balance. Any game design has Alpha and Beta playtest phases. The playtest phases are designed so that mistakes, overpoweredness, etc can be caught and corrected. After a set i...

Volcanon: I only had heard bits and pieces about the Pokemon debacle. Game balance is imperative for a game to stay alive. Having ever increasing powered sets is a bad bad thing. Companies need to learn this. Also screwing over the secondary market is another bad bad thing when you tought yourself w...

News to me. I always thought this card was only given out to those who bought a box at full WOTC retail price in the states. Never had heard that these were given out for any other purpose...especially outside the US. Now the question I have is was this offically prize support, or did the event coor...

Rainsford: That si the problem with text....meaning gets lost. Although the comments I made are true in my opinion, I did not side with those who desire for all cards to be released. I fully agree with your example and how integrity of the company's word superceeds a few cards. On another example......

The Gateway cards are listed like this for the collector numbers: Icatian Javelineers 2 DCI Fiery Temper 3 DCI Foil Wood Elves 1 DCI So there is no tie into Arena dying off. Surging Flame is the last known Arena card. If everyone recalls, Arena cards as of late, feature cards with set mechanics of t...
