Re: List of Sets containing Artist Proofs

Re: List of hard to distinguish FWB and 4th Edition Cards

Here is Zorn Gottes (Wrath of God). Left is FWB; right is 4th Edition. Identification is based on a careful comparison of the heights of the card names. No other differences are very obvious. The best indicator I've spotted here is the 'i' in the word "im" in the rules text. On the 4th Edition card...

Re: List of hard to distinguish FWB and 4th Edition Cards

Voluntarily, the black dot variants are explained here: http://greendisenchantproject.jimdo.com/dot-print-variants/ Italian FWB cards always have it, Italian FWB never. Very interesting! I have examined my white-bordered Italian cards and there does seem to be a strong correlation between the dot a...

Re: List of hard to distinguish FWB and 4th Edition Cards

Thank you, Tosta, you are welcome to post more singles missing on the list so that we have more material to spot the sets. I'm working on it presently. In the meantime, can you elaborate on something you said above? Did you check them for the black dot on the back? I don't see any other mention of ...

Re: In What Order were the Sets Designed / Printed / Released ?

There are some features on the cards that indicate Foreign Ice Age was printed in 1996 after Renaissance: 1. The copyright lines of foreign Ice Age cards are slightly smaller as normal and the C in the (C) symbol is serifless. Other sets with these were the Quick Starter/Introductory 2-Players Set, ...

Re: List of hard to distinguish FWB and 4th Edition Cards

Thank you for your info and pics. If it's true that the bold copyright line is not associated with the round i dots on Italian FWB, the rest of the green cards should definately be listed. I'd like to see one example prior to extending the list.
