Arena program officially dead

To tie in with the already known European Arena program replaced with Gateway: http://www.magiclibrary.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3635 I have confirmed here in the US that the Arena program is dead as well, to be replaced with Gateway as well. This was confirmed last Friday speaking with the Events ...

Well I wish you luck in your search, as I often face the same problems with other artists I try and get info on (like the illusive Richard Wright). In this day and age, there are still a surpirsing number of artists not on the web, either with their own site or prominently mentioned. Well quickly di...

Im glad Im not the only one who just saw that and thought to myself Purple cards. I've no idea if Timeshifted (offical name for purple reprints) will come in foil, but a little piece regarding foils: Andy Heckt (of Wizards) just posted this on Judge list: Subject: Possible additional rares in TSP b...

Well by comparing the uncut sheets with one another, and also looking at all the miscuts, this should 10% prove that there have to be different sheets. Possibly a new one was set per print run, or sheets wore out, or whatever. The point is there are more than one sheet possibly. As mahidishian point...

Alexis: From the card alone, you can see this as something new. The bottom shows PT 2007. Agreed that the artwork is a little lacking as well. I think we are seeing more and more of these limited type runs. This also means harder and harder to obtain. If it weren't for eBay, a lot of us collectors w...

I too had seen these boxes for sale at Pastimes, a shop near us. Didn't impress me personally, as there are a bajillion deck boxes on the market, and these are pretty plain looking imo.

Yes, but you can get them signed by the player...which still gets them a lower grade since they are inked.

So full retail for a booster box will be $143.64 then right? An 8.1% increase overall. Thus this means you might get booster boxes at about $75-$80 at best I think, unless you buy in major bulk.

Just in time for Time Spiral as well! In fact, on the exact release date of the set.

I think they are just being given out much slower. There always seems to be more and more of these all the time. Time will tell though. Since they are given out slower, and especially for cards with amazing art or art hot in various formats, value runs high as demand exceeds supply.

Anyone else notice that for 2007, we are back to 5 judge cards instead of the 4 we saw in 2005 and 2006? Wonder if the Holiday Rewards are set to return? Or has the tournament schedule increased for the year?

I agree with the fact that I miss the rarity updates being more frequent, but I do think that n other site archives and tracks details about M:TG as a whole. This niche can and should be filled. I think Ralph is also attempting to that on top of things. Does anyone actually feel neglected informatio...

What do you people think about card prices rising over time? Have they reached a plateau for things like the blue hurricane and the black lotus? I can see value of some cards going up slightly over time, but the flood of new sets seems to depress the long-term value of anything printed after Legend...
