Re: how many do you know in person?
I'm not sure I've actually met any of the forum members in person. I don't go out to many tourneys or cons, so I don't get much of an opportunity to meet anyone.

Re: Cardhaus hit the jackpot !
I dont think that image is of the actual product. I think Cardhaus would be smarter than to try to sell an open beta booster box for that price.

Re: Other CCGs
I, for a short time, played Spellfire :(
I also had a few psychotic episodes where I found myself playing SW, Rage and even Overpower!
Other than that it's been strictly Mtg.

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits
Hey Loquii- Is there something they've done recently that has honked you off? Nothing specific, or dreadfully bad, but the fact that they reprint things like Underworld Dreams shows that they still like to toy with us a bit, and that they're not affraid to make bold decisions. I do feel confidant t...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits
If WOTC started to reprint cards previosuly stated they would never reprint and this would cause a giant drop in prices, causing economic grief to retailers, dealers, etc. Doing this would undermine the collector market for M:TG. I think the effects would be devastating and VERY dangero...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits
I've gone back and forth on the proxy issue a few times. Personally I don't like the idea of official proxies. Good quality proxies already exist, technically illegally, and themselves often fetch a higher price than many casual players can afford (even when properly labelled as a proxy). For people...

Re: New official article about magic counterfeits
Not a bad little article. It's nice to see something posted officialy to the WotC site about fakes. I mostly liked the stuff on the fake boxes and packs. I've never seen anything like that personally, just heard rumors. I'd love to get my hands on fake booster packs.

Re: PSA Grading.
Any knowledgable information on how to detect tampered with PSA cases, or suggestions on how to test the authenticity of a slabbed card without cracking the case, please let me know. I would love to add a section on this to my how to spot fakes FAQ.

Re: Ante cards missing from some non-English sets
So then what replaced these cards on the printed sheets?
So, there is not a portuguese Tempest Efreet, nor Rebirth, nor Bronze Tablet, nor Amulet of Quoz, nor Timmerian Friends.

Re: alpha rule book
Introduction Worzel felt the telltale prickling at the back of her neck; her domain was being challenged! It's someone old. She though. Someone I know...Thomil! It had been a long time since he had challenged her. Quickly, she called her vassals into action. She would need much mana for this duel, ...

Re: alpha rule book
Both Alpha and Beta rulebooks have a picture of Bog Wraith on the cover. Alpha is 35 (numbered) pages. On pages 4-5, there is a short story about a character named Worzel, written incidently by Richard Garfield. Beta is 39 (numbered) pages and does not have the story. Thanks! My book is indeed an A...

Re: alpha rule book
So is there a difference? I have a stray rule book sitting around and I was trying to figure out which it was.I think Ralph scanned one a long time ago when we were trying to differentiate Alpha from Beta from Unlimited rulebooks.

Re: alpha mox artist proofs on ebay!!
I know this question has come up before, but isn't there no way of telling the diffrence between an alpha or beta proof, or even a collector's edition proof? They're all the same right?
