The old forum has finally been deleted. As soon as phpBB 3.0 will be ready, I will take care of the spam problem and do another clean sweep of the member list to rid it from bots and inactive members.

A very good summary for the Weatherlight epic (Weatherlight to Apocalypse) can be found here: http://mtgsalvation.com/article/435/remember-the-weatherlight-partvc/ You can read more summaries, especially about newer sets, in the MTG Salvation storyline forum: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/forumdisp...

Great job! TerraFrost has sent me the final files, and I could transfer the lost posts to this forum. YaBB can be put to rest. If you have any business there, please do it now. I will delete the old forum by the end of this week.

Thanks for the info. I know the card can be abused and is a potential combo piece, yet I wonder whether there is a popular deck built around it.

I noticed on the fair that the Sea Drake card is very sought after at the moment. Can somebody tell me why?

Wow :-O So they decided to have the foil card textless as well. The 2007 cycle of cards has been astonishing thus far.

mintcollector: You misunderstood me. I am against the Reserved List (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=magic/products/ReprintPolicy), not against the Restricted / Banned List (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=judge/resources/banned). In fact, I fully understand and support the Restricted / Ba...

Thank you for pointing this out. This raises an important question: Should alternate sources of promo cards be monitored? And if they should, which limitations should apply? My current stance is to monitor the primary source (promo cards usually serve a primary function, even if they are given out t...

I wish to add that I am a strong offender of the Reserved List. I deeply believe it is a burden to the game and should be laid to rest. Numerous cards on the list would have been an ideal candidate for reprint over the years, but WotC holds true to a promise the vast majority of people (at least tha...

Rainsford: I am familiar with this argument, but I disagree. First, when you gave out the first 2000 copies, you never promised that you would never ever give out more. In fact, when the series of events started, it was not even clear how many copies would be given out in the end. Second, by giving ...

TerraFrost: Thank you for your offer. YaBB is still online: http://www.magiclibrary.net/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl All topics you see there (except the few hundred obvious spam topics) need to be transferred. I am very concerned about an attempt to technically convert the data, though, as it endangers the...

The two missing cards are just the latest step of a series of inconsistencies. The Arena 2006 cycle started with 8 cards, then was upped to 11 without a reason during Guildpact. 2 cards were given out during Guildpact instead of one only to revert to one card for the Dissension and the Coldsnap seas...

dragsamou: I can send you the text file, but it is not complete, as I just started with it yesterday. If you wish, you can take over and copy and paste all topics from the old forum to the Archive folder of your choice here. Then we have everything online, and there is no need to maintain a text fil...
