Re: Some odd mtg items/misprints....

I hope to see scans of this stuff soon, I'm interested in a few of the double prints.

I have one, from FE. Paid $10 for it. It is Spore Flower/ Dwarf of some sort.

I'd have to say the best thing about Fallen Empires is all the misprints!

As for the Sliver deck, let's see how miscut...

Re: Cool misprint

Wow, if those miscuts are going for that much, I'm sitting on a goldmine.

I decided I want a miscut from every set... do any of you have any you want to get rid of?

I already have a Homelands one, sorry Dyl.

Re: Cool misprint

Never realised rows of miscuts went for so much. I have 5 in a row, running top to bottom, with about 75%/25% showing. Reprisal & Mox Monkey are on it. I play with them on occasion.

I wish I had more playable miscuts, I'd use them in a deck or something...

Re: Urban legend all rare booster

When Onslaught came out, I purchased a starter simply so I'd get basic land for my set. I pulled 9 rares. I bought all of the rest that they had, & got an average of 6 rares per starter.

I saw Revised packs that were all rares opened years ago.

Re: Commons and Uncommons

I collect sets, I'm almost as far along, & almost as picky as mintcollector. I need about 300 cards to have one of every regular English card- and half of what I need is from 5th edition because I rarely look for them... I keep one of each common for my sets, the entire set is alphabetical. Then I k...

Re: Value question - Dirtcowl Wurm prerelease erro

I have one, I'm mean, I carry it around with me but won't trade it. 8)

In general, people offer me $75-100US for it, usually in trade. I tell them no, but at least I keep up on the current value.

I purchased mine this time last year, for $45US.

Re: big $$ theft

Yea, I definitly will keep my eyes open. In my hometown, I would probably be the only person within hours that could have 10 Black Lotuses & no one would raise an eyebrow (no, don't phone me in, I didn't do it!). I am the one that people come to when they have too much stuff they want to sell. StarC...

Re: big $$ theft

It really depends on how smart the thieves are. If the cards that were stolen are easily aquired, you can trade off Scourge packs or Mirrodin rares all day. No one would ever know, really. But if it is packs of Beta, Summer, whatever, it is too unique. I even can identify cards that were mine like t...

Re: Arabian Nights Case at So cal GenCon

So when did the cases switch to 6 boxes? I saw an auction for 10 Legends boosters in a case, I thought they were always 6. Were they ten until.... Revised, is it? I seem to remember 6 boxes then.

Re: Do any of us have real jobs?

Cool thats my dreamwork that I will never get! In sweden u have to have your grades from school at 19+ where 20 is the most, to get into the right education. And I'm an avarage guy at 13,5... Glad to see you are interested in the biz. Honestly, though, we sure don't make a lot of money doing what I...

Re: Insuring your collection?  Any suggestions?

Hey now... I'm a magic junkie, but I really don't care for the new cards like I do the old ones. I own anywhere from 3,000-5,000 cards, per set, from Alpha thru Ice Age. I've bought out 3 stores too... I've had a few cards stolen from me, but not the other way around! And sticking to topic, I am tha...

Re: Most prized M:TG item

Yea, I'd imagine that if one was put on ebay today, it'd get more. It has slowly become known amongst collectors. When someone told me, I had a good laugh. I then was shown one, & got an even bigger laugh. So, any time i see one in a binder, I take it out to carefully examine it. I haven't found a C...
