1. I was mostly here for lurking purposes to begin with, as I'm barely dabbling in collecting as is. That said, my global Tiger collection is coming along well thanks greatly to the benevolence of patrons of this site. 2. See #1 3. For collecting, no. For magic, pretty much every site that isn't blo...

Once I was camping and I saw a chipmunk about 10 yards from me in the path I was walking on. I picked up a rock and tossed it toward the chipmunk, to scare it off. Unfortunately, my aim was too good, and I hit the little dude right between the eyes. It wasn't a big rock, but he wasn't a big animal. ...

I like it, except where the manacost is. It's interesting, if nothing else. I found the Planar Chaos frames dull.

It kind of looks Russian to me, I'm not sure, though. I like them a lot though, and would love to hear more info. They seem to be named "Darkovy" tokens, from what I can tell. What that means is beyond me.

This means all global collectors will have at least 2 more of their cards to collect (than they already would have). It also makes 10th edition on par with Saga and 5th as the most-languages printed set in the game (10 out of a possible 11).

While it's only mildly connected to the topic, have any of you tried out the new Ultra-Pro Officially Liscensed Magic sleeves? They look nice from the photos on StarCity, has anyone played with them?

Do you know a way to only remove the black ink from a card, leaving the other colors (and the guild watermark) there? I do a lot of card modification, and I don't know how. I'd guess these are real misprints.

I've done farseek already. I showed it to wizard1 before. Then some local store owner in ottawa (ontario canada) wanted it for $50 so I was like "SURE"! Currently I'm doing Tangle Wire, which is driving me insane because of the number of wires on the picture. I did Boros Signet for a friend. Talk a...

If you're taking an ad (using the examples here) for $79 and bring it in to your local store, it is not 'much higher' than the store pays for the box. Even if it's a dollar more than what they're paying, it's a dollar in their pockets, as opposed to a dollar in another store's pockets. If your loca...

I've taken to finding the best deal I can, then printing it and asking a local shop to match the price. Usually its still much higher than the store pays, so they make profit, and are glad to have the business locally. Saves you money on shipping and makes them money, it's win-win.

A few points: In Ice Age, Necropotence was strongly considered the WORST card in the set before it's power was uncovered. Alliances, you forgot to mention Balduvian Horde Homelands cards of note were Autumn Willow, since you could choose to Giant Growth her, and Serrated Arrows. At that point, you h...
