You might be right about that. Certainly, a cut sheet Serra wouldn't be one of the ones he feels was stolen from him.. but then, neither would it be one of the 50 he was supposed to get. People cutting sheets would for him diminish the worth/steal sales of any remaining Beta proofs he still had left...

What you are saying would suggest more than 50 sheet sets exist, which may be true, but it's also true that, in a sense, the Serra value is a separate question, since Shuler quite specifically won't sign the Serras (or, really, any of the Shuler art proofs) from those sheets. Because of his peculiar...

Yes, I've heard. This is part of the reason I'd like to know how many of those sets there are. That number will obviously influence both the price of an uncut sheet set and the number of single (mostly unsigned - it's got to be awkward to ask an artist to sign an AP he didn't sell you, even when it'...

You know, I never thought to check if he had any left! I'll see if he's sold it/them yet and I might have my answer right there. Next (related) question: Does anyone really know how many sheet sets were printed? Or has that question already been asked and answered a head-bashingly large number of ti...

I don't know how much it's worth precisely, or I wouldn't be asking, but I am quite sure that if I put mine up for sale and you were only willing to pay $100 for it, you wouldn't be in the top 10 bidders. There are many collectors of what I call "fetish" cards like Serra, and they tend to turn up wh...

Re: Beta Serra proof
I've seen Shivan sell for 300ish. A Time Walk seems to have exchanged hands on eBay a while ago for 2000 or so. ... what do you guys think it's worth? A real one. One of the 15 copies that wasn't misappropriated/back-of-the-trucked/"lost"/whatever (sorry, Gary, I know this sort of talk pisses you of...

Beta Serra proof
... what do you guys think it's worth? A real one. One of the 15 copies that wasn't misappropriated/back-of-the-trucked/"lost"/whatever (sorry, Gary, I know this sort of talk pisses you off, but I have a lot of received anger from Shuler on this point) at the WotC dock and is signed by Shuler - btw,...

I have eleven of her Magic originals and sketches as indicated below, possibly +1 - it would take a bit to answer that definitively. Nothing's priced. Having said that, none of the paintings would make her highlight reel, but her highlight reel pieces would definitely have more decimal places in the...

Do your Guay collections include art? I have original paintings and sketches for some of her Magic pieces from Masques, Portal, Alliances, and a couple other sets (no Kaysa, but I did own the original sketch to her Serra for a while.. man, do I regret selling *that*). I also have a few non-magic ske...

Now, just because someone offers you a bridge doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have one to sell. They might just be destined to do time for selling it.

The ones I got I traded for at the Weatherlight prerelease in Rye, NY with an Unlimited Ancestral. I sold or traded off eleven of them at events literally all over the US (rail passes can be fun..) between then and when I basically stopped everything for a while in 2000. Since then, I've sold anothe...

Markus - I think I may have an extra one of these. If I do, it's probably not NM (will provide close digital image of whatever I may have, of course). If that's okay with you, let me know, and I will check through my Alpha stuff and get back to you. Tap4black probably has (had?) one, too - you might...
