Tedin was definitely there and exactly where he said he would be at the White Silver Publishing booth. William O'Connor was also there and a fun guy to talk to with a good sense of humor. The artist I missed was Matt Wilson. Like you, I felt that Gen Con took a step back from previous years with reg...

Leocrazy,

I too have about 2000+ signed cards. If you ever make your list, I'd like to see it. Maybe we could trade some duplicates.

I have a couple signed by Anson, but they're all very old. I have no idea if he still signs. I also have several cards signed by Anson that are very old. It seems that he has joined the cadre of artists that have become invisible. I have a friend living on the west coast who carries Anson's cards w...

Looks like they had the Original Artists do the Artwork up until now. I'd think Dan Frazier could use the work. To me, Dan Frazier deserved the work! He is a card signing fanboy or fangirl's dream. In addition, he was there at the beginning! He is successful enough that he probably doesn't need the...

Another One Bites The Dust

It seems that one of my favorite card vendors is no more :'-(

Without Paul I would not have completed my Italian Legends set.

Here's the response that I got when I sent an email to Kevin Brockschmidt last month asking if he would sign some cards for me.

"Sure, Ed, send 'em on over."

Are These Signatures Legitimate?

There are some signed cards from Alpha that are currently at auction on Ebay. Some of these are Amy Weber cards. While the seller has a pretty good reputation, I have never seen an Amy Weber signature that looked like what I'm seeing on these cards. Do any of you have cards signed by her that look l...

I could not believe it when I found out about it. I kept hoping that it was an error! He signed cards for me just a month ago and was very friendly. Our family is diminished with his passing!

Thanks for all the advice!! I'm feeling quite a bit more comfortable about moving my collection. Psrex, my destination is the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with Gilford and Meredith being the most likely landing zones.

I'll Be Moving So What's The Best Way To Pack My Cards

It looks like I'll be moving from Florida to New Hampshire later this year. It's a distance of about 1,400 miles so a professional mover will be involved. I'm looking for suggestions as to how to pack my cards. I'm thinking that the ones that are in toploaders inside cases won't be a problem, please...

For what it's worth, if you are already going to Gen Con, Mark Poole will be one of the featured artists. He has been there before and is a very friendly guy. He did a sketch of Counterspell on a lunch box for a friend of mine. Awesome! http://www.gencon.com/displayindy.aspx?file=indy-art-show There...

Re: Things NOT to do when shipping

I always send cards inside a penny sleeve reversed so the open end is down inside a toploader with scotch tape. This prevents card creep. I've had cards arrive that were at least 1/4 inch outside the toploader because they weren't sealed. When I get cards, I'm always happy to tap, tap, tap to clear ...

Re: If you are ever in the area...

Always good to have new players especially when they are trained by a master!! Congratulations on your acquisition! It's neat holding some of the early history of the game we love. Maybe I'll see you at GenCon!
