Re: Italian Second Edition With Bold Copyright.

A friend opened a couple booster boxes of Italian FWB for fun. These booster packs in both boxes contained bold copyright AND regular copyright cards. This is not something that affects the entire set, or even entire sheets. It's only specific cards in the set. This is a card design issue, caused by...

Re: Very old Rarities Value?

Good to see you here again. I've enjoyed many of your old posts. :-D The place that I would look for current Uncut Sheet values, is in the "MTG Uncut Sheet Collectors and Appreciation Group" on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1576641252644095/ It's about 500 people who regularly buy and se...

Re: Registration of Beta, Beta Proofs, and both Collectors Edition sets.

Some of your images show the fronts of Collectors Edition with the backs of International Edition.

We're still studying the cards to look for differences.

I'll leave it up to you whether you want to change them now or wait until later when more info is available.

Re: Portal Playtest Cards

This is what the land cards look like. I'm not sure what generation these are from, they could be from any of the generations. They're all on English 4th Edition cards, and every different artwork of English 4th land was used. Interestingly, several of these Portal Playtest lands are on Alternate 4t...

Re: Portal Playtest Cards

3rd Generation Portal Playtest cards use full size stickers, like most subsequent Playtest cards. These 3rd Generation cards have "HA", an abbreviation of the set Codename, located at the bottom of the card, just before the Identification Number. They have "v2.0" where the expansion symbol would be....

Re: Portal Playtest Cards

2nd Generation Portal Playtest cards use full size stickers, like most subsequent playtest cards. This simplified the process, because Playtest stickers could now be placed onto any card, instead of having to search for a specific correct card. The Playtest stickers now control all features of the c...

Re: Portal Playtest Cards

1st Generation Portal Playtest cards use half sized stickers. They reuse the original cards name and casting cost, so it was important that the Playtest sticker be attached to the correct card. Next to the identification code, is the name of the card that the sticker should be attached to. These Pla...

Portal Playtest Cards

While searching for interesting items to add to my Global Sets, I've stumbled onto some Portal Playtest Cards from a couple playtesters. I plan to keep the cards that fit my Global Sets, and sell off the rest to recoup my costs, but before any of them head off to new homes, I wanted to document them...

Re: Booster Variants: Visions

PBM Graphics (North Carolina?) began printing <snip> supplemental products I didn't know that, thx for sharing! Do you think this explains why many of these cards feel so differently (cheap, fake) compared to cards from regular sets? I've talked with one of the employees who worked there printing a...
