Thank you for all the kind response (private and public). I am looking forward to setting into motion my (Magic-related) plans how to make a living. dry cereal: Consulting you about US law would turn out to be a little ... lacking. Do not let that spoil your desire to send me all your cards, though....

I paused for a moment because of its private nature but decided to share the news nonetheless: I have passed my law exams and have been awarded with a university degree. I am a jurist now. My preparation for this final test was the reason why so little has been happening lately on the website. With ...

Thank you for the link (it does not work right now, but I guess this is just a temporary problem). So it is Hachette again. Hm, Hachette Collections is part of the multinational Hachette Filipacchi Medias (HFM) publishing company - as it Salvat. It has divisions in many European countries, among the...

The idea that there has to be a foil version of the black filler card is very old. With your discovery, there seems to be a proof, yet I am cautious. Could you please go into detail how you distinguish a fake black filler card from a nonfoil black filler card from a foil black filler card?

Filer cards are a touchy topic. Before officially distingushing these two allgedly different versions, I want to hear more about it and,at best, hold both versions in hand to check them myself. Maybe this time enough people join the discussion and share their knowledge to reach an unquestionable and...

Do not expect to find a good answer for your question in the first book you pick. As flatmatt said, there is no fleshed out concept, but authors have the liberty to make up an explanation on their own, and they seldomly go to detail about these things that much. That said, I am sure a storyline guru...
