Ralph: From the listings of locations, it looks like States is just what they're calling "Champs" for events in the US.

There may be different foil imprints on the cards, but they're probably the same event.

Re: Some have all the luck & then waste it

I guess my question is: Why would someone turn down items of established value for a chance at something else? Three possibilities: 1) He's a kid, and "high-dollar Type 2 cards" doesn't mean anything to him. 2) He's a person that would rather open 540 cards rather than recieve 10. 3) 1 box = 12 dra...

From experience, though, they do fly quite nicely for just being a stamped posterboard. (or whatever it is)

Re: Saviours of Kamigawa

The first card usually known to the public is the preview card of the set (Betrayers was Ninja of the Deep Hours, Saviors is Oppressive Will). From there, the first spoilers begin building their databases around the weekend before the preview cards are released. The full spoiler, especially over the...

Site Suggestion

One suggestion I have is that there be a link on the main (rarities) page that links to an A-Z directory of every promo card by name, and a link to every promotional thing it's been in. Something like: Giant Growth [ FNM | JSS ] FNM would link to the FNM page, JSS to the JSS page. It would be a lot ...

Re: Where members are living.

I currently reside in Madison, WI. It's a nice city with 7 gaming stores, as well as being able to see Dan Bock's rarity collection. (Inc. Most/All of Summer Rev. and 4th) He's just one of those interesting people that once you get to know has some amazing things to share.
