Euro Lands

Euro lands are alternate art lands that were available to people living in Europe. Their artwork features scenes from around this region. The cards were available in three packs: blue, red, and purple.
These packs were given to European purchasers of boxes of Nemesis, Prophecy, and Invasion boosters.
The bar code of a booster box had to be cut out and mailed to the appropriate Magic distributor in each country to receive one land booster.

In December 2008, WOTC decided to release again the Euro Lands boosters in North America and in Europe. They were sent to US and European retailers to act as buy-a-box promos.

There are three versions of EuroLand boosters, each containing 5 lands depicting an European landscape. Your EuroLand booster will be randomly chosen:

Wizards of the Coast has two holiday promotions for retailers including a special “Euro Lands” giveaway.
Retailers who opted for this promotion when they registered for FNM (Friday Night Magic) events in December will receive six 5-card packs of Euro Lands cards.
The retailers who signed on for the promotion agreed to give a Euro Lands pack to the first six customers who purchased a Magic display box (from any set).

This winter, we want to help you to sell Magic booster boxes with a pretty hot added value promotion!
When you sanction your December FNM, US locations will have the option to opt in to the "Euro Land pack consumer added value" promotion.
If you do, we will send you 6 packs of Euro Lands with your FNM prize kit.
The Euro Land packs contain five lands, each featuring artwork that depicts real-world locations in Europe.
These booster packs were first distributed in limited quantities in Europe in 2000, and are pretty rare in the US.
Give one away to customers who buy a display of Magic boosters to heat up sales this winter!

In October 2009, leftover Euroland packs were sent to Japanese stores who gave away 1 land with every purchase of 4 Japanese booster packs from: Shards of Alara, Conflux, Alara Reborn and at least one from Magic 2010.
