Vintage Championships prizes
So I had never noticed until now (mainly because I've never seen one in person), that the Vintage champ cards aren't actually cards, but a painting, with matting that resembles the card frame (minus the pic), as can be seen in this pic of this years prize (the artwork sits deeper than the card frame).
Are all the prize cards like this?

If I had known the prizes looked that good I would have won a few Championships!
As it was, I think I once got to a second round!
My playgroup (about 5 in total) were all multiplayers, we never did duels. All our decks and tactics were designed for long drawn out games with multiple attackers.
Things like land destruction, weenie and permission decks never worked so we never came up against any and had no idea how to handle them.
One Tournament (Revised Era) I had a first round loss against a merfolk deck and the second tournament (Ice Ages Era) I had a second round loss to a Cheese (Direct Damage) deck.
I did the best out of our playgroup so I think we stopped going to them!
Multiplayer is a completely different game, we really should have played a few duels in our group but there was usually only 3 players around at any one time.
